Book your accommodations in Ottawa!

On campus

Arrangements have been made for on campus accommodations at in residence buildings at Carleton University. Single occupancy, double occupancy, and two bedroom suites are available, subject to availability.

IMPORTANT: Some folks have been facing issues with booking a room on the Conference Services website. The system can be prone to issues. To avoid these issues please follow the instructions below when making your booking.

  1. Do not log in before beginning the booking process. This notice is also displayed on the page where the booking code is entered and applied. You will be prompted to log in or create an account later in the process, prior to payment.

  2. On the home page, click Group Promotion Code at the top of the page.

  3. Enter the code 2026Zoologist, then select Apply Code and choose the appropriate group.

  4. You will be taken to the page listing the room offerings. Scroll down and click Book Now.

  5. On the Room Selection page, add your desired room to the cart.

  6. Proceed to the Terms and Conditions page, scroll down, and click I Accept and Understand.

  7. You will then be prompted to create an account or log in to an existing account. Select your option and click Save and Continue.

  8. On the Shopping Cart Checkout page, review your booking and click Pay Now.

  9. You will be redirected to the payment portal to complete your transaction.

  10. Once payment is successful, you will be directed to the Booking Confirmation page. Click Confirm Booking, and you will be returned to the home page.

Off campus

There are several hotels in commuting distance from Carleton University. If you have access to a vehicle, many areas of the city are accessible within an ~20-30 min drive. On campus parking rates can be found here. To make your commute easier, we suggest options with convenient access to the O-train, Ottawa’s light rail system which has a stop on campus, approximately 2 minutes walk from the venue. Routes extend to downtown Ottawa and to the airport.
